Flores and Alor


Flores is a long and mountainous island, with astonishing landscapes, rainforests, dramatic volcanoes, deep ravines and picturesque villages. Ancestral belief are still widespread in remote villages.Flores has great collection in megaliths and cult houses.

When you are in Flores do not miss the volcanic crater lake on Kelimutu mountain (1,640 meters) in Kelimutu National Park. This park comprises an area of 5,000 ha, and consist of three crater lakes each with a different color : blue, turqoise and dark burgundy. ALOR
The regency of Alor comprises the islands of Pantar and Alor and a number of smaller islands. Kalabahi, the capital, is on Alor island. Alor district is located at the easternmost province of east Nusa Tenggara has a beautiful and attractive panorama to offer. The white beaches are really natural and exotic. In addition, it will add to your further enjoyment if you can make time for your lunch or dinner of grilled fish on the beach there. In adition to the remarkable beaches, Alor also has in its possession a special tourist object, which is very attractive for sport diving.

TAKA BONERATE
Spread over 2200 square kilometers in the Flores Sea south of Sulawesi, Taka Bonerate is the largest atoll in Indonesia, the third largest in the world. This archipelago exist hundreds mostly inhabited tropical islands and atolls surrounded by crystal clear waters and lagoons. Many diving professionals believe this archipelago contains incredible diverse marine life. There are virtually no roads on these islands, allowing remote villages and dive sites to remain untouched.

TUKANG BESI
As one of the world's most unique diving destinations, the Tukang Besi chain of islands, south-east of Sulawesi, could be considered as one of the "last outspots of diving civilization" featuring colossal drop-offs and magnificent coral reefs.
